FORTHCOMING RETIREMENTS

Following five officers working in PS Group "B" in Punjab Circle are going to retire from service on superannuation by 31-4-2013:

1. Sh. Mohinder Pal Sr.Postmaster Hoshiarpur is retiring on 28-02-2013.
2. Sh. Paramjit Singh posted as Asstt. Director (Staff) R.O Chandigarh is retiring on 31-03-2013.
3. Sh. Parshotam Das posted as Asstt. Director ( Mail and Tech) R.O Chandigarh is retiring on 31-03-2013.
4. Sh. Mohinder Singh Sr. Postmaster Patiala is retiring on 30-04-2013
5. Sh. B.L.Badhan Officiating as APMG( Staff) Circle Office Chandigarh is retiring on 30-4-2013.

• Besides, Sh. Jaskaran Singh Sr. Postmaster Amritsar has sought voluntary retirement on short notice. He is likely to have the same in January 2013 itself.
• One or two vacancies may arise on the basis of JTS DPC likely to be held in Jan/Feb-2013.
• There is already shortfall of 8 JTS officers for the last 3-4 years against which 5 Group "B" officers are officiating leaving vacancies in Group "B", two divisions have been downgraded to Class-II being not availability of eligible candidates and one post is laying vacant since long. Now one can well imagine its after effect..........?
