Working Committee meeting of the IPASP Association was held at
Shirdi on 12-13/10/12 under the chairmanship of Sh. Suresh Kumar Sharma
President, where 17 Circles participated and offered their view on various issues
concerning IP/ASPs. As usual no concrete decision could be taken because IP/ASP
merger issue became part of the discussion that should in-fact not be because at
this stage there has not been any nous to look back. Anyway all and sundry was
of the view that Association should render full support to Sh. Permanand to
file fresh application, as advised by his counsel, in Hon’ble CAT with the financial
support of CHQ. Sh. Ajith Kurian CS Kerala will pursue the case on behalf of
the association.
Other issues such as need of transparency in PS Group “B’’
examination, re-allotment of Surplus IPs to their parent circle, Sr. Postmaster
Cadre examination, Cadre review, organisation restructuring etc. were discussed
in detail. GS will write separate letters on every count to the Secretary (P).
