RPLI INCENTIVE TO IPs FOR PROPOSAL VERIFICATION IS PAYABLE

PLI Directorate vide letter No. 26-2/2009-LI dated 16-01-2013 has clarified that provisions of PLI Directorate letter no. 35017/78-LI (Vol III) dated 19.3.96 regarding admissibility of incentive to SDI/ASP for verification/scrutiny of RPLI proposals have not been superseded either the directorate letter no 26-02/2009-LI dated 18.9.2009 or any other subsequent letter.

The above clarification has been issued by PLI Directorate to clear the doubts raised by some circles consequent upon issuance of revised incentive structure for PLI/RPLI sale force. In the above letter it has been clarified that SDI/ASPs shall be paid incentive equal to 10% of the procurement commission paid to the Gramin Dak Sewaks and Gramin Dak BPM’s whose proposals are verified by such SDI/ASP. This will be limited to only the first year premium income commission earned by Gramin Dak Sewaks and Gramin Dak BPM’s on such proposals

Now path and all hurdle to clear the pending incentive bills of SDI/ASP has been vacated and incentive will be paid for verification of RPLI proposals as was being paid in view of Directorate order no. 35-15/78-LI (Vol III) dated 19.3.96 .

RETIREMENT WISHES

It is very distressing that Sh. Jaskaran Singh, our senior member and Sr. Postmaster Amritsar has taken a difficult decision of voluntary retirement that too under the trying circumstances at the age of 53. He took this decision on two grounds one due to sudden demise of his young daughter and second due to non cooperation from the seniors due to his vision problem. It is not the time to congratulate you sir on your voluntary retirement but wish you happy and prosperous retired life ahead.

Sir, You're starting a new journey and exceptional chapter of your life. May your days be filled with elation and accomplishments. The IPASP association thanks you for your integrity and dedication. The association also thanks All India IPASP Association President and all other members who joined the retirement party of Sh. Jaskaran Singh at Amritsar.

POSTING ON REPATRIATION

Punjab Postal Circle has issued following posting orders of the repatriated officers presently working in Haryana Circle.They will get relief only on joining the incumbents allotted to Haryana Circle in the recently held DPC.

1. Sh Dilgbag Singh Suri presently working as SPOs Sonepat has been posted as SPOs Sangrur. Sh. Ashok Kumar Garg may take over charge in mid April or May starting.

2. Sh. Amarjit Singh Seknon SRM HR Division Ambala has been posted as SPOs Ludhiana (M) Dn. vice Sh. P.C.Pal who has been posted as Asstt. Director Circle Office. Sh. Baljinder Singh will take over Sh. Sekhon.

FORTHCOMING RETIREMENTS

Following five officers working in PS Group "B" in Punjab Circle are going to retire from service on superannuation by 31-4-2013:

1. Sh. Mohinder Pal Sr.Postmaster Hoshiarpur is retiring on 28-02-2013.
2. Sh. Paramjit Singh posted as Asstt. Director (Staff) R.O Chandigarh is retiring on 31-03-2013.
3. Sh. Parshotam Das posted as Asstt. Director ( Mail and Tech) R.O Chandigarh is retiring on 31-03-2013.
4. Sh. Mohinder Singh Sr. Postmaster Patiala is retiring on 30-04-2013
5. Sh. B.L.Badhan Officiating as APMG( Staff) Circle Office Chandigarh is retiring on 30-4-2013.

• Besides, Sh. Jaskaran Singh Sr. Postmaster Amritsar has sought voluntary retirement on short notice. He is likely to have the same in January 2013 itself.
• One or two vacancies may arise on the basis of JTS DPC likely to be held in Jan/Feb-2013.
• There is already shortfall of 8 JTS officers for the last 3-4 years against which 5 Group "B" officers are officiating leaving vacancies in Group "B", two divisions have been downgraded to Class-II being not availability of eligible candidates and one post is laying vacant since long. Now one can well imagine its after effect..........?

Condolence Message

IPASP Association Punjab is deeply saddened to know the unfortunate and untimely death of Sh. Rajendra Babu Ex- CS TN Circle and our respectable friend. There are no words to describe the utter grief that members of the Punjab IPASP Association are feeling. We cannot possibly imagine the shock and sorrow through which his family and TN friends are being passing. It is very unfortunate that he has left us too soon and God has done a great injustice with the family of Babu. It is not believable that life of such a smart and talented young man has ended with so much living left to do. Bad things happen to good people only. May God give strength to the family of Sh. Rajendra Babu to bear this big loss. 

REVISED HONORARIUM FOR IO/PO

Department of Post vide Dte. Letter number C-32016/12/2011 dated 8-01-2013 has endorsed Department of Personnel and Training letter no. 142/15/2010-AVD-I dated 31-7-2012 revising the rate of Honorarium to IO/PO for conducting Departmental enquiries.

The revised rates of honorarium and other allowances payable in case of departmental proceedings will now be within the range of rates indicated in the table below:
