- Shri Gopal Krishan Sharma ASP (HQ) Patiala has been promoted to PS Gr B cadre on adhoc and temporary basis. He shall join as Sr Postmaster, GPO Chandigarh.
- Shri Surinder Pal (OC) has been repatriated to Punjab Circle from Army Postal Service. He will join as Asstt Supdt Posts in the Punjab Circle. Consequently, there shall be no promotion to ASP cadre from IP cadre for want of vacancy in ASP cadre. After filling up the vacancy by OC candidate, we have left with four vacancies. Two SC & Two ST. There is no official of ST Category in feeder cadre and reserved vacancies cannot be filled alone. There cannot be 100% reservation. Association welcomes Shri Surinder Pal back to his parent circle.
