Punjab

Chandigarh-160017
Sub: Regarding Transfer/Posting of ASP cadre officials in Punjab
Region.
Respected Sir,
IPASP
Association Punjab Postal Circle intends to bring to your kind notice certain
issues concerning recent posting/ transfer orders issued by the RO in the ASP
cadre. While admitting that transfer/posting is administrative privilege, but
it is also fact that the principle of justice does not prevail now-a-days.
Tenure, circumstances under which IP/ASP are working in the circle have no
meaning in some cases. Even the humanitarian grounds are not being considered
while issuing posting orders.
Transfer of Sh.S.K.Chug,
who was posted one year back on promotion to Amritsar has now again been
transferred with TA/TP to Faridkot without any solid reason, is the set example
of injustice, whereas Sh. Chug can be adjusted at his station of choice without
TA/TP as done in case of Sh. K.P.Meena and Sh.J.S.Bhullar. Another example is
of Sh. Pawan Kumar Bansal, II (Inv) Regional Office who has not been posted at
his choice station at Ferozepur, while his batch mate has been given convenient
postings in their home divisions without completion of even two years outside
his parent division for the reasons best known to the administration. Request
of Sh. K.K.Setia as per his request has also not been considered.
Such type of
instances not only cause hardship for the cadre but also demoralizes them
thereby effecting business and work of the administration. You will agree that
IP/ASP working at farther places from their home always face difficulties
resulting in frustrations and home sickness.
Hence, the
Association appeals to your kind honour to kindly examine the above issues and
take a favourable decision in the matter. A line of reply is solicited.
With regards
Yours Faithfully

CPMG Punjab Circle has taken the issue seriously and assured me
that he will take care of the issue personally. Now It is hoped that some of our greviances will be settled soon.I am really very happy and grateful to CPMG for the great assurance given by him.

Sir
This is certainly a good news !!!
It is hoped that worthy Chief PMG has realized the pain of our comrades being sufferred along day and night, by unstopped travelling to & fro, and those are placed at farthest point from their natives. Similar sensitiveness is required from worthy PMG also.
