Thank you ASP from Tamilnadu Circle. At last some body has supported my views.
Rightly I can say that Sri. Harimohan and party are going in the wrong direction. It is an unnecessary exercise of mingling of cadre restructuring with GP issue and it will dilute the CAT verdict which is hard earned by Sri. Permanand for us. Sri. Harimohan and party is backstabbing the efforts of Sri. Permanand who is also a junior ASP and is ambitious to get upgraded GP to ASPs also.
It is the headache of the department and Finance ministry to implement the CAT order. Permanand & Co. is ready to fight if they resort to go for appeal. Of course some delay will occur but if we get arrears w.e.f 1.1.2006 no problem to wait for some more time.
There are so many items lying before us as told by my friend ASP, Tamilnadu. I have sent a detailed cadre restructuring proposal to Sri. Harimohan some time before for discussion among the members but he is in a defiant mood.
In the cadre restructuring committee there are a no. of issues like upgradation of sub division and divisions, reorganisation of sub divisions, forming of business team/ inspection teams etc. Sri. Harimohan himself has put forth a good suggestion of upgrading sub d visions as PS group-B and divisions as Group-A. This is one of the concrete solution for many problems we are now facing. But he has rolled back when heard from IPS officers that there are 'functional problems'. The union side should have questioned official side about what is the functional problem.
Present method of calculation of work load of sub divisions are also to be questioned in the committee. Instead Sri. Harimohan and party is boasting about getting 500 ASP upgraded to PS group-B. In fact presidential sanction were issued for upgradation of 245 ASP posts some 20 years ago without any merger but our association is inefficient to materialise the said order till date with the help of a court of law.
So I request Sri. ASP, Tamilnadu and ASPs in Andhra to ask their Circle secretaries to intervene in the matter urgently for saving the larger interest of our cadre and to help the sub divisional heads as the present members of the union side in the cadre restructuring committee are going at their wish, whim and fancies.

Dear Sir,
I have a one query in mind..I am appearing for SR. PM exam, which is to be held in Dec 2011. After passing Sr.Pm exam, what will be promotional opportunities? whether I have to work as Sr. PM for remaining service or I may get chance to work in SP/SSP and so on? Pl give your valuable guidance
Dear Prafullaji
After passing Sr.PM exam you will have to work as Sr, Postmaster till you are in Postmaster cadre. However as Sr. Postmaster you will be eligible for induction in IPoS Group A on the basis of consolidated eligible list of PS Group B and Sr. Postmaster. As such you will be eligible to work as SSPOs as and when you elevated to JTS/STS.
Prafulji,
First you pass the exam and lateron think about prospect. You are expecting fruits without seeds.
On ASP Rajan's comment:
I agree with Rajan. Now days, I feel fighters like Harimohamji and Mohantiji disappeared. I think they are now not supporting the issue of GP.They are interested in some thing else. Our EX Association peoples did the same thing. They complicated the matter of GP. I hope Permandji will not follow the path taken by such peoples and will fight for implementation of CAT case. Then only history will remain intact. The way all Indians remember fighters like Bhagat Singh/Sukhdev/Chandra Shekhar etc, Shri Permanandji will be remembered by every IP/ASP/SP/SSPOs forever till the existence of DOP. Most of the IP/ASPOs in Association are are simply Fake fighters or paper tigers.
Dear Harimohanji!
Sorry for the harsh words used in my comment that was published in your blog. It might have hurt you. I should not have been so rude. Pardon me. it was derived from extreme disappointment.
If you don't mind kindly enlighten me with the following information.
1) How many postal/RMS divisions are there in the department?
out of which
a) How many Group-A divisions?
b) How many PS group-B divisions?
2) How many ASP sub divisions?
3) How many IP sub divisions?
4) sanctioned strength of ASP cadre ?
5) sanctioned strength of IP cadre?
