Directorate issued promotions in JTS of IPS Group 'A' (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400) vide letter no. 4-5/2012-SPG dated 26.04.2013. Following two officers are allotted to Punjab Circle after their elevation.
- Mr. B.R. Nanajagi (ST) DOB 01.06.1963 Karanataka Circle.
- Mr. Bihari Lal Badhan (SC) DOB 20.04.1953 Punjab Circle.
Association wishes them good luck in their future endeavours.

It is a good thing that one officer from Karnataka has been posted in punjab. We. welcome him.Our ist priority should be to eradicate regionalism and caste ism.
There is tradition in Panjab that people from other corner of country are welcomed in panjab as good will gesture, unfortunately that is taken as weakness of the people coming from other part of Panjab. Colleagues from other parts of country play regionalism/provisional ism. and caste ism. people dislike such things. Their time is over.Such things will not be tolerated any more.During the last 7 years panjab has been the victim of such things. Thanks to almighty that . It is hoped that there will be harmonious relations.
One bogie of Himachal express has been reduced. Bogies Panjab express will be increased as these are awaiting for their turn to com on the platform. It is ridiculous that Officers from panjab are there in Himachal and of Himachal are there in Panjab
