Orders issued by Chief PMG Punjab Chd for adhoc promotion to ASP cadres are reproduced below

Orders of the competent authority are hereby conveyed for promotion of the following officials of IPOs cadre to ASPOs cadre in the Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay Rs.4600/- on purely temporary and adhoc basis with immediate effect. On adhoc promotion, the officials are posted on the posts shown against their names.

The promotion of the above named officials is subject to the following conditions:
1. That the promotion is for a period of 11 months with effect from the date of assuming the duty in ASPOs cadre or till the regular approved officer is posted against the said post which ever is earlier.
2. That the promotion is on purely temporary and adhoc basis and can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof. The adhoc promotion will not confer any right for regular promotion to ASPOs cadre.
3. That no vigilance/disc. case of the type referred to in DO P&T I.M. No.22011-4/91-Estt.(A) dated 14-09-92 circulated vide DG Post New Delhi Memo No. 25-19/88-SPG dated 13-10-92 is pending against the officials and that no punishment is current against them.

All the credit goes to Shri Harimohan Circle Secretary & Shri Gopal Krishan, Acting Circle Secretary, without their vision and tireless efforts, this would not have happened. Besides, a lot of thanks of Shri Suresh Kumar, President of the association, for their persistent & continuous pressure in this regard. It is appreciable that all my promotees have joined ASPOs cadre before 31.12.11. History repeats itself. I recall the day of 01.01.2009, when our CS along with members met the then CPMG Shri PR Kumar and requested to issue orders for promotion to ASPOs and allow to join them today only to get the benefit of increment. Worthy Chief was kind enough to issue orders on the spot accordingly. I am deeply grateful & thankfull to all my well wishers. Congratulations to all my promotee counterparts. May God bless them in their future endeavours. Thanks a lot and wishes for the coming Happy New Year - 2012

Congratulations to IP/ASP Association of Punjab for these orders. It has only happened due to utmost efforts of top brass of our leadership. It is really a win for our association. Thanks once again for the same.
Congrats to all adhoc ASPOs of Punjab Circle. We IPOs in Maharashtra Circle are not fortunate to get increment in due time. Our Circle appears defunct for the welfare of IP/ASP cadre.

Don't worry and read FR 22(1)(ii) and ask the accountant to fix the pay after getting increment on 1st July. Nowadays, there is no loss in the net emoluments if you opt FR 22(1)(ii).
