WHO CARES ???

Awareness about procedural fairness is pivotal for organizational variables but where our understanding stand. A matter of fact is that by today some decision should have been arrived on the judgement of Hon’ble Ernakulum bench but who cares for the justice? I will say that we cannot put the whole onus on administration. To some extent, we are equally responsible for the same because our vested interests are becoming hassles. Our new GS had visited Directorate thrice within a short span but he could not come up to the expectations of the Association. Members of the Punjab Association invited our GS in its conference with the intuition of getting a prolific result out of his return visit to directorate. Though thoroughly conversed in this context, he seems to have brought only some information to put on blog that has disappointed the Inspectorial staff of Punjab Circle. Our GS could not understand the policy of our officers who have always left IP cadre at the receiving end. The aftermath of this visit has resulted in wide spread resentment in the cadre forcing us not to extend any support to CHQ particularly when we cannot fight for justice. I do agree on this count with my members though I understand their concern and one thing is agreeable that associations are not formed for fun and frolic but for the betterment of the cadre and to achieve our dues. I along with my prospective Circle Secretary Sh. Balbir Singh am very much concerned about pending GP issue that requires immediate relief. Punjab wing of the Association is of the view that by now Association should have taken available legal course on GP issue to get the judgement implemented. Punjab association is ready to bear all the expenses, if there needs be but action should be from CHQ. There is no end to our injuries, though in Oct,2011 Hon’ble CAT has categorically stated in para 33 of its judgement that there is no justification in denying the Inspector (Posts) the higher Grade Pay of Rs.4600 when the same is admissible to inspectors of other department. This parity was to be allowed with in a reasonable period but six months are going to lapse today, where the justice is. The posts of IPs have still been advertised in the GP of Rs.4200/- by Staff Selection Commission. Should this not be subject to question why our post has not been kept at par with other Inspector? GS and President should think of it and take action to get justice for us.

Very well said “Bravo”, that’s the spirit and pain we should keep for this cadre. We are doing our best for the betterment of this department irrespective of its influence on over bosses as we have to please our GOD with our sincere and honest working and not to our bosses. We must keep the dignity of that chair which Almighty God has blessed us, but for the fulfilment of our justified rights, we can go up to any extent.
“Struggle for existence” is the fundamental phenomenon among all living things of this universe but only and only IP/ASP may be a unique one which is not coming forward to receive its justified rights. Sir, the enhancement of GP of IPO w.e.f 01.01.2006 will definitely boost up the status and working culture among this cadre. So please do whatever you seem justified to snatch our long pending demand.I am extending my full support to you morally, financially and logically.

Dear Sir,

During the Circle Corference , GS in his speech has said " Iquote :
" I am the person who can sit on hunger fast in front of the Postal Dte for grade pay issue and any other welfare activites. "
Now perhaps this is the high time for him to initiate such move . Other wise what is use of association ?

Sir
Very well said. Legal recourse is the only remedy available to us to pressurise our bosses and fulfill our genuine and basic demand. Main point at this juncture is to go for stay for the recruitment of direct IPs on the averment that since GP issue is at decisive junction, how can SSC be go scot free in advertising the posts of IP for GP as Rs.4200/-. Once we able to stayed the rectt process of SSC, Department will think, rethink and assess the situation. Execution/Contempt in Ernakulam Bench for compliance of judgement will be icing on a cake (Sone per sohaga).

Respected Harimohanji,
I once again appreciate for your comment on n GP.There are many persons like me who are always willing to donate money for justice on GP .As we know GS , he will do nothing except writting letters to Dte. GS will never sit on hunger strike. It is my challenge to all IPOs/ASPOs.Instead he will ask administration indirectly to take action against the IPO/ASPOs who have participated in hunger strike. The comments offered above reg stay on IP rectt through SSC is very good idea. SSC should have mentioned in advt. that 4600/- GP is under consideration for IPOs or likely to be implemented as per CAT Ernakulam CAT verdict. Harimohanji, we are with you. Please do some thing to set right the GP issue at the earliest.

With Regards,
ASP Patil
